Do 27 to fly at Aeroseum, Gothenburg

Former Swedish Army Dornier Do 27 has arrived at Aeroseum (the cave hangar) in Gothenburg.

Hopes are to make her flyable again in the future – I believe it would then be the only Do 27 on the Scandinavian airshow circuit.

Thanks …

Thanks for the info..
Scandinavians are doing well the past period.. Not only in the Eurovision Song contest but also in vintage aviation.:diablo:
A Broussard in DK and a Do-27 in SE , not bad!

Can you inform us on the identity of this aircraft: former Swedish AF regi, and maybe future civil regi???

The aircraft type (Do 27A-4) was called Fpl 53 when in service with the Swedish Army (not Air Force) 1962-1991. See more here

This particular example is no 53271, callsign “81”. Dornier c/n 2099 and built in 1961.

Future flying is likely to be on the Swedish civil experimental register.
