Hello Hunter enthusiasts et al,
As promised, i would publish details when Lakes Lightnings is ready to move Hunter GA11 WT711 and we are pleased to say that time has now come.
Historic Aero UK Ltd will be dismantling her on Thursday 14th May 09 at Coventry Airport and road moving her in the evening up to Cumbria along the M6.
The back up plan, (in case she doesnt come apart easily) is to road move her Friday morning (15th) so, any pictures taken anytime, particularly whilst in transit would be very gratefully received at: [email]lakeslightnings@hotmail.co.uk[/email]
She was offered up for sale some threads ago but that was in anticipation of a Lightning cockpit becomming available and hence the funds may have been needed elsewhere.
Needless to say, this did not happen so, Lakes Lightnings is pleased to announce this event and continue with plan A.
