Sunk Gazelle

Oops , I had forgotten about the ZB batch of Gazelles. Must try harder next time… I saw the V and thought it might have been a GW1 type designation.

Ah well, back to the day job

Got it! It was ZB628/V c/n 1915.

I doubt… according one of the pics, unfortunate Gazelle was coded “V”. Since the black/white outlined letter is positioned on the rear fuselage part, I assume it should be some odf the RAF’s HT3 birds.

Assuming the 1993 date is correct then the only w/o I can find is XX407 Gazelle AH1 written off on 20th July 1993
