Second He219 survivor?

I have come across talk in another forum of a second He 219 survivor that may exist,
It says of a hulk that may or may not exist in Germany, “sans engines a scrap dealer is supposed to have it tucked away somewhere?

Can anyone confirm this?

Also, on the note of there only being one left in the world- There is a rumor that there is a gentlman in Germany who has the hulk of one, sans engines- He is a scrap dealer of some kind……But, hardly anyone has been able to confirm it, let alone get near it- I would love to know exactly where it is-

Its from a post on LSP modelling website I go on,

Heres the link to the page

If that is true then it is great news, The only surviving He219 bit
was part of a stabilizer and tailfin.
Confirmation would be nice, as April first has been behind us
for a month now.;)

Cheers

The one in America is now partly restored & the Fuselage & one engine are on display in the Smithsonians Udvar-Hazy centre. The wing is being worked on & will be mated with the rest upon completion.
The part of the fuselage where the wing was removed still has its original paint on it & the restorers have used this as the template to recreate the paint scheme.
Heres a before artice.

One in the USA IIRC, not restored just in storage, so this would be great to see, one of my favourites as well.

I do prefer the Ju-88 personaly 😀 It would be great if another one was found, although how would they have kept it under wraps for so long? Shorely someone would have noticed! Chris
