What airfield is this?

I’ve just scanned a batch of negatives taken by my father in the 1950s. The quality is pretty poor but some of the subjects are quite interesting. Among them was a handful of aircraft. I have no clues at all as to the location. Some of the other photos were of the Festival of Britain, both during construction and after opening, which dates the whole lot to around 1950-51. The aicraft are DC-4s, a Dragonfly and a C-54 (although I am prepared to be corrected).

Any ideas as to where they were taken?
