I have several times referred to the collection of aircraft in the Al Mahatta Museum in Sharjah, UAE. One of them is C47A 42-92452, FZ669, RCAF12943, C-GCXE, N688EA, now spuriously marked as G-AMZZ of Gulf Aviation. I was looking closely at it a few days ago and noticed for the first time apparently “DJKP” on the left side of the rudder, and “G-” on the right side. I Googled G-DJKP: GINFO does not come up with it, but there is a vague reference in one model site that this C47 did carry that registration for its “delivery from India”.
Can anyone confirm that?
