The Spitfire Society

The Spitfire Society held its Annual General Meeting at Old Warden today.

Next year’s AGM will be hosted by Vice President John Romain at Duxford, in the ARCo and DX conference facilities.

With free entry in to DX for Society members on that day, it does mean that for a mere £15 membership, there is an unusual and rare chance to peep behind the curtains at ‘Area 51’. 🙂

Mark (Vice President)

Do you have the date, so I can book my advance cheap air ticket?

The date is not finalised, but when I know I will give the earliest warning.

Curtains:eek:??? I must’ve missed them. I guess its all the top-secret airframes like the Aurora that keep spoiling the view of the furnishings and decor. I must try looking a bit harder…tomorrow 😉
