Bruntingthorpe Airframes possibly for disposal.

Hi Guys

It is with great regret that Max and I have decided it might be time to call it a day with Aviation and sell our airframes. We have not come to a definite final decision yet, but feel it would be a good idea to find out who might be interested in our pride and joys.
The airframes concerned are,

1) Jet Provost T Mk.3A, XN584. In fast taxiable condition, with all instrumentation, both seats fully equiped but innert, Viper 102 engine instaled and running and a certain amount of spares and support equipment.
Please note this is not a potential flyer and there are no log books.

2) D.H. Chipmunk T.10, WZ869. Fuselage, seats, instrument panels, some harnesses, sticks, pedals and complete canopy. No windscreen. Also included would be the rear fuselage section incorporating the canopy rail and the rest of the rear fuselage back to and including a tailcone. This is an unrestored “work in progress” project.

As I say, no definate decisions yet, and we would reserve the right to sell them to our prefered purchaser not the highest bidder.

The very thought of selling up is heartbreaking, but at the moment, it looks like the only way forward for us.

Maybe you could sell shares in your JP. That way you could still enjoy your aircraft and also share the time/cost/ required to look after it.

You are all very kind, thanks.

Hi guys
All of your kind words have been both noted and appriciated, and we are keeping an open mind for the time being.
Those of you closer to us now know both the full extent and nature of our problems, and again, your kindness at this very difficult time for us all has been a great support.
Best wishes,
Ritch and Max Blood.
