When in Kent two weeks ago, I drove to the Jackdaw Inn for lunch…only to find it closed for what looked to be extensive remodeling.
Wonder if it will be greatly changed from its BoB film appearance?
Just wanted to let all of you know so there wouldn’t be any wasted trips.
BTW: It looks much smaller than it did in the film…

Unfortunately the Jackdaw has had several major refurbishments over the years, changing the appearance dramatically from its Battle of Britain film days. When I visited in the late 80’s its was externally unchanged from its film appearance.
The Jackdaw has just reopened BTW.
I took this shot in June 2006.
