Just wondering if anyone can help with these parts, all were found on an airfield.
The box like item with the holes does have a serial no J62R2615 with an inspectors stamp under it.
The Bomb I think could be a practice bomb, it is safe as the inside is empty and it’s in a pretty bad way.
The electrical conectors and other items all start with the Ref No IOH/…..
All of the items have yet to be cleaned and preserved.
Thanks Guy’

I would say that the part with J62R2615 is Fairey Firefly.
Do you have any more bits or do you think there would be any more bits on the site of the dump?

The bomb is a 10 or an 11½Lb practice bomb.
mine for comparison.
and pretty sure it’s not a repro !

The electrical connectors are stamped, 10H not I0H my mistake! Some are 10H/4544, 10H/4558, dont know if this helps, but thanks anyway.
The inspectors stamp has been hit at an angle so you can only see half, but there is an 8 in the right top of the stamp, and numbers under it that are impossible to read. It is possible that it could have come from a F.A.A. aircraft.
I did think it was a practice bomb, but never 100%, thanks for the picture, while we are on the subject anyone got any pictures of practice bombs?
I have two others, one complete and parts of another, always wondered if there was any pics of the different types used.

Was this airfield an ex Fleet air arm station?
In the with the number J62R2615,did the inspectors stamp have “F8” in it?

10H are: “Radio Connectors, disc indicating fuses, leads, plugs, sockets, ancilliary parts, holders and terminals”
It looks as if it may have a dump of electrical/radio parts.
Not sure about bomb. Either a practice smoke bomb or a mortar round.
