Spitfire Parts

I was wondering if somebody might be able to help me with this. I bought the collection of aircraft crash items below about 15 years ago when I was about 13/14 and was keen to get my hands on anything aircraft related from a local market in the north east.

The items were stick/wired to the bord, and although the aircraft identity is not mentioned, I assume they are from a Spitfire.

As can be seen from the photo, the items include an oxygen mark (not sure what type), part of a flying helmet (for some reason the previous owner seems to have used PVA glue to preserve the outer leather), a set of pilots wings, and two bits of aircraft that I haven’t identified.

I was wondering if somebody might be able to tell me what the aircraft parts are. I assume the cast item is from the engine. It is stamped with what appears to be
RR111
WK1
K87255

The larger item with the circle cut in is stamped
179 92061
along with AW and then some number which I can’t make out in an oval

Although I am not sure which aircraft it came from, the photo shows a Spitfire with the serial MB8?2 of 41 Squadron (I think it might be MB882) and I was wondering if that parts might be from that aircraft. I had wondered if any forum members might have seen the display before, or have even owned it.

I think there is a good chance I will never know which aircraft it came from, however I would like to know what the parts shown are.

Any help would be great,

Johnnie
