Keenair and the Nord 3202

Hello,

Researching for a superb flightsim version of the 3202, I seem to remember that Keenair up at Liverpool, imported four examples of this French trainer from the States and that one of them at some stage of its life on the British register was painted up in Luftwaffe markings.

My memory of this is a little hazy, but did it happen and to which example was the colours applied?

Best wishes,

Martin

But is it real – or the figment of someone’s imagination!

Thanks to the two of you for replying to my question. I was beginning to doubt that the scheme didn’t exist, but now I know better!!

Thank you very much indeed,

Best wishes,

Martin

You would be looking for G-BNFZ, cancelled by the CAA in 1987.:)

Having second thoughts about this one although it was owned by Keenair. The CAA did not record a US registration for the aircraft, but they did record US registrations for G-BIZM, G-BRVA, G-BIZK and G-BPMU, that would make five.

No trace of any German colour scheme yet!
