The silver pistons in the button are precision lapped to the bronze barrels, and are separate to the proper schrader valve that permits air to the guns, we think they ‘blow back’ the piston against the rocker button instead of springs, in which case the rocker button should be floppy until air is in the column. This supposes the main schaders permit a small bleed of air to push the pistons back against the rocker.Any chance of pics of the rocker and outer case removed from the assembly? One sight of a spring and the theory is blown.
