Well you could always come along to Coventry tomorrow where we’re holding an Open Day at Air Atlantique including the chance for some pleasure flying. Public welcome from 10.00.

Well if you had done a tour of Suffolk, Bawdsey Radar ( don’t forget Shingle Street), Debach (from a distance) Orford Ness (c/w pubs), Martelsham for archeology, Bentwaters and Woodbridge from the fence, on return. Then through Essex and take your pick, Earls Colne with an O/S map? Or venture further a field to Bungay (or Hardwick??) or Norwich airport, sunshine everywhere today πŸ™‚ . Even the railway and a cycle would have produced results (Pen Pusher?)

Not here from about lunchtime the clouds came in and weve had raing πŸ™

Noticed this on Newark’s list for tomorrow … β€œAt the moment Saturday looks like being a bumper day with up to 4 aircraft open including: the Vulcan, Shackleton, Hastings and Varsity.” http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/newsItem.php?id=88

Then there’s the Night Photo Shoot http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/newsItem.php?id=60

Come on XH668, spread those wings a bit I’m sure that you could still get a space for this event at Newark http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/newsItem.php?id=60 πŸ˜€

Hi XH668 …………..

Suggest you get hold a copy of Wrecks and Relics 21st Edition, that will give you a run down on aircraft museums. Have you been to Old Warden and de Havilland Museum at London Colney?
