i’m sure i read somewhere that they had sent 2 spare engines to be repaired in the states? i’m probably wrong though!!!

lets hope its nothing serious and that its been taken off to check that everything went alright and that there no trace of metal in the oil?
Must be bad to take the engine off.
You can check the filters for traces of metal.
I would imagine that was done after the first run.
Do they have another spare?

Just got back from a visit to Duxford and she is sitting outside as per last year, with only 3 engines. Post pictures later.

I was wondering the same thing this morning. Only seen the picture of her with all 4 engines running that was posted on the TFC blog. Popped into Duxford 2 weeks ago and she was inside with the cowlings and wing tips off but no one around to speak to. I’m hoping she’s flying for the Duxford Spring Airshow as it’s my birthday.
W1745 – she arrived in 1975 so had been around a few years in your picture.
