gloss, matt, or semi-gloss, ?
synthetic or cellulose ?
Other options are available also (eg: acrylic, gloss etc…) but if you want to win awards pehaps very high gloss ?

Martin,
My local motor factors will mix to any paint spec you require (matt, semi-gloss, synthetic, cellulose etc, etc….) and put it in a pressurised can for spraying at approx a tenner a can.
You just need to quote the BS. number….

I agree with Dave, that’s definately the best way to do it.
The colour to ask for is BS381C:283 Aircraft Grey Green.

Vauxhall ‘Leaf Green’ is quite good for a british type green; as said above, LAS do an American type cockpit green in Aerosol;

780-002 is the stuff we use, £4.60 a can at the moment. Just be aware if you do buy some that the Edel paints can be a bit tricky and the nozzles get clogged very easily. Shake really well (AT LEAST two minutes) and keep some thin wire handy.

LAS Aerospace do it in an aerosol, I think the dark green Zinc Chromate is that colour.
