Hi everyone. I have been reading this forum for a while now and finally decided to take the plunge and join. I decided to post here as historic aircraft are my main interest. I’m not sure my knowledge will match up to yours but I’m looking forward to chatting with you all.

Before anyone asks, no they won’t be at legends!
Thanks again for the welcome.

Seriously though I am sure you will enjoy the forum and everyone had to start with little or no knowledge. I have found everyone here is helpful and willing to exchange info when they can and I am sure you will find the same.

Hi Bager1968. The Sgt.Austin name is in memory of my late uncle Sgt. Austin Fry. Served with the RAF during WW2, mainly in the desert. I have many memories of his stories he told me, he was quite a character. Sadly he died in a car accident when I was a nine years old. I have various bits and pieces of his, campaign medals etc.

Welcome – as long as you’ve got a thick skin and a warped sense of humour – you’ll be alright :D:D:D
