Baby Clipper accident 1939

Can anyone throw light on this accident for me?I have the envelope and cutting and realise there was a crash possibly a fire due to the burns on the envelope.Had to use PDF as my photos where too large.

Baby Clipper Air mail letter

The crash was Pan Am’s Sikorsky S-43 NC16933 on 13 Aug 1939 at Rio it seems
