Flying Italian Warbird

What are the chances of seeing a Macchi 202/205, Fiat G55 or a Reggiane Re.2005 flying again?

I know very few of these aircraft survive, but could a wreck be found and restored?

The only Reggiane Re2005 bit that remains today is a rear fuselage.

What’s the latest on Pino Valenti’s G-59? Didn’t someone on this forum say it was finished (or very close) last year or so?

A G.59 is being ‘retro’ rebuild as a G.55 for Gerry Yagen as a flyer. The MC.205 crash landed in Italy many years back and was repaired and placed in a museum.

I might be wrong, but there was some type of Italian fighter flying in the 1970s or 80s.
