Can anyone point me towards whereabouts of any colour illustration of N.A. P51D Mustang (44-14163) named ‘Jake the Snake’, which flew with the 355FG from Steeple Morden in the latter stages of the war. I have a b/w illustration from an Osprey book, but would like a coloured one. As you can buy model decals of this particular aircraft, I’m thinking there’s the possibility of something in a back issue of a modelling magazine…..?
I’ve tried a Google search, seemed to get hits about an old American wrestler.
