Just wondered if there is any news of the above a/c?
I haven’t seen the a/c display for almost 5 years now and am getting withdrawal symptoms! I keep hoping it’ll display at Kemble again (the last place I saw it), but the very show you’d expect it to attend (Classic Jets display etc) and it doesn’t appear… 🙁 Probably down to money as ever, but can anyone provide a status update please?
Thanks…

XP924 flew a successful shake-down sortie today at Hurn. This was Brian Grant’s final flight as pilot of the Sea Vixen. 😀

De Havilland Aviation have been very busy in recent months moving to alternative accommodation at Hurn. I see that they’ve just launched a new website at:

Things are looking promising for a successful 2009 featuring plenty of displays. Let’s all hope so as G-CVIXXP924 is a fantastic a/c.
