American Tail Unit ID?

Yes another Identity needed , pretty sure yank tail unit, heavy construction? originally purchsed years ago as a P-40 but have my doubts, any help would be great, Darrell

Darrell, see if you cna see any stamps or numbers and try light sanding a couple of guys need to know the numbers for ID.
