Well, it had to be done!
I’m secretly hoping for some ‘forgotten’ Fleet Air Arm/FRADU Hunters 🙂

XL573
Just about to depart from Exeter is XL573. She has a 12 Squadron badge just below the cockpit because this is one of her former Squadrons.
Nice

Jim – I don’t think F.6 XF375 does have a plain nose – certainly not the last time I saw her.
I’ll see if I can find the photo I mentioned. I think it was in a recent FlyPast.

Some Hunters at Duxford 10 July 1998. The first two show XF375, an F6 but fitted with an FR10 nose. Does anyone know anything about this? A recent photo of it in one of the mags shows that it now has a normal nose.
The aircraft are:
XF375/05
XF375/05
WV276/D
XE627/T
XL587/Z
XL587/Z
J-4021/21
