Who or what is the Gordon Swanborough Collection?

William Green & Gordon Swanborough / Pilot Press / Flying Review – etc etc.
Try a Google on these multiples.
A collection built up from the 1940’s by enthusiast/publisher/historians.

So, where exactly can I find it, is it on-line and can you buy prints from the collection… ?
My understanding. It was a personal collection. Key Publishing purchased it and draw on it frequently. It is part of their working archive and not on line.

I might be wrong, but isn’t some of the collection held in the photo archive managed by this forum’s kind hosts – Key Publishing?

I sourced pictures of my aircraft the week it was delivered to Vigors Aviation, factory fresh back in the early 1960s from there.
Great resource.

I believe that it’s an extensive Photographic Collection / Archive.
