Can any one help with this question
I am trying to find out where the Royal Navy Historic Flight collection is kept at RNAS Yeovilton.

speaking of the RNHF,can we expect to see either or both of the sea furies on the display circuit this year Lee, or is this too soon?

Unfortunately the Flight don’t work weekends (except for during the display season when they departing to/arriving from shows). Where you parked your aircraft in 1988 may very well be a different place to where it would be parked these days, though.

The reason why I asked.
I flew into Yeovilton back in September 1988 in a light aircraft.
I am visiting my son and future in laws who live not far from Yeovilton, we intend to visit the museum over the weekend I am over.
I understand the Historic flight is in the area we were parked in the Cherokee i flew all thoughs years ago.

If you buy a copy of their cracking Sea Fury dvd, you can see exactly where they are based.

Go onto google earth or flashearth, i think they are in the hanger due east of the end of runway 04 (Southern side of airfield)

Hangar 17, south side (ie not the public side).
The Flight’s still there
…..certainly was an hour ago!

It used to be kept in a small blister type hangar on opposite side from the museum, unsure if it is still there.
