I’ve looked at some of the archive and occasionally their captions/cutlines leave a lot to be desired. S
ince the first photo shows F-82s, I’d suggest the factory is the North American plant rather than Douglas…unless for some reason F-82s were stored for a period. But since the firms were at different airports, they would have been flown in.
