D.H 71 Tiger Moth in the U.S.A

Has anyone seen this single seat racer about in the U.S recently?

She’s in a hangar at a small airport north of New York City, along with Mike’s Tiger, Chipmunk, and Moth Major ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ycue-ogJgMw ) . Don’t know when she last flew though, but several years anyway.

DB,

You’ll only see her if Mike brings her out in the open. He has thoughts on her future, but best left to him to advise. As the builder, he looks after her well.

G’day 😉

I understood that the Souch example, although well advanced at one stage and displayed statically at one of the Woburn rallies (beautiful it looked too) , was never completed and subsequently dismantled.

Not heard of it for ages. I thought it only flew a few a times. I think it was difficult handle. What happend to the one built in the UK by Ron Souch, i was shown photos of it by his son. It looked nearly finished years ago.
