Trying to work out the colour sequence on the mission tally for a panel of this aircraft.
The photos in Ton-Up-Lancs show distinct colour differences between white and yellow bombs. The trouble is that the colours don’t match with the mission data – even counting from the bottom left as stated.
Does anyone have a good photo of the tally or the kiwi ?
When assigning day/night to the colour scheme – was the colour for when it left, when it returned, over the target or as I expect predominant daytime/nightime of the mission.
