CGI Beaufighter – with passengers!

I was flying from Philadelphia to Gatwick on Tuesday and the ancient US Airways 757 only had TV screens in the ceiling – no video on demand!

Anyway, the only film was “The Mummy – Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”, not really my find of film but I kept a lazy eye on the ludicrous action sequences.

Then it really got out of hand – the “hero” plus mol and assorted others got on board a Bristol Beaufighter transport (!) equipped with skis over the main wheels to fly off and track down the baddies.

I kid you not – what the h*ll were they thinking of?

Anyone got any other crazy uses of unsuitable aircraft in films or TV?

stop being a grump!:)
its a bit of a larff and delighted me to see a Beau as opposed to the usual ubiquitous Beech 18, Stampe, or Dak they normally ‘use’

Besides, you should be writing SS not watching films!!!
