Lancaster Prop Blades Wanted?????

I cant wait to hear the answers, but anybody know or have Lancaster propellor blades, preferably for the packard merlins on the Mk X Canadian lancs? cheers Darrell

While any of you are in the shed looking for them in amongst all your aviation junk, if you find any Mosquito paddle blades I’d be interested in those (and a hub too) – any condition, just for static.
They are similar (slightly broader and straight-edged) than the Lanc blade.

…and I would be interested in any 23ex prop for a ground running engine. Or just a no5 SBAC spider if anyone has one they could part with?

Yes basically all the big musuems have already been petitioned for blades, now trying collectors and aviation buffs like ourselves who may have or may know where blades may be, chers Darrell

Prop blades

Bolyman – might be worth you getting in touch with the UK Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and seeing if they have any scrappers.
Decent, early Lancaster “needle”-type blades are as good as extinct so it’ll be the “padle” blades you’re after?

Shouldnt be too hard to find as long as your referring to the Paddle blade type.
