Am looking for a gyrocompass unit for our Sea Prince WP321/G-BRFC as part of its restoration to flying condition.
What we need is a :-
Gyrosyn Compass Type CL2
Gyro Unit (TypeB)
With Gyropilot coupler
Part No 16883-0
(6J/1468)
This seems to differ from most other compass units fitted to the aircraft of this period by having an additional housing on the back shaped like half a cylinder which may have something to do with the gyropilot coupling but any other compasses of this type wont work. Any help leads etc gratefully received. Many thanks in advance

I should have one – but what do you need in the form of paperwork? I have no idea of the serviceability of the one I have, though there must still be someone capable of overhauling it.
