Cockpit window identification

I put up a post a few years back asking for help identifying some windows I’ve got. Thought I’d try again before dumping them. Any ideas appreciated.
They appear to be solid purspex not laminated. There’s a rubber gasket glued on the inside, and the edge is profiled for clamping in place. There are no numbers anywhere. It has already been suggested to me they might possibly be from a BAE built armoured car and not an aircraft, but they do seem to be a similar shape to the front windows on some airliners. The holes are 13mm dia. If anyone can help. Thanks.

Instead of thinking it’s from a warbird or commercial aircraft, how about a GA type? It certainly looks strong enough for that.

Something along the lines of a side window for a Rapide or Hornet Moth (though I’m not specifically suggesting those two types).

I’m pretty sure it’s not from an American GA aircraft, and the UK doesn’t leave a lot of options, so perhaps something from the continent?

If that doesn’t work, Id suggest a caravan or bus.

ebay

Yes I guess I’ll stick them on ebay first. It’s just frustrating not knowing what they’re from or what to accurately list them under.
Graham could you say what are the edges of your B17 window like? And thickness?
Looking at the edges of my ones I can’t see any tale tale evidence of how they’re constructed – just clear perspex.

I stand corrected if need be, but I thought all ‘front windows’ were laminated for safety – certainly a B-17 one I got is (which is of similar shape) and anything airliner post-war would be operating at a higher speed, and therefore under greater threat of birdstrikes and therefore in need of laminating.

Non aviation.

Hi Peter,
No sadly no markings at all. I’m beginning to agree they may be non aviation. Although I’ve seen some airliner cockpit glass with a similar irregular shape the sides are usually of a more equal length. I’m wondering if they’re from a speedboat perhaps.
