Hello all
Here is a couple of images on recent progress on my Proctor Mk1 rebuild.
Included the one with the clamps for a laugh because it looked like a forrest of clamp handles.
The second one is where for fuselage was taken off the centre section and next will be getting it ready for putting on the floor. The floor is a bit unusual in that the ply grain is at 45 degrees to the centre line of the fuselage. Guess it is added bracing, however makes it a bit of a pain in terms of getting hold of the ply (1.5mm).
cheers

Feel free to put them up
This has been a 22year project so far, people have been born, grownup and had kids who are now going to kindy during the time I have been working on this.
As regards The ply, I am thinking of getting some specially made. It can be hoop pine marine ply (the spec is for high quality commercial ply)

BTW fantastic pictures of your Proctor. I´ll not put any of the Gemini up on here, as it a 30 year project and will be slow
What glue are you using? Looking at your photos I would say West System or similar??

Never mind the 1.5 mm. I´ve got some stacked:D Try getting hold of 1.2mm:eek: Aircraft spruce are not stocking it anymore. I´ve found a source in Germany for 1.2mm, but the price will make your eyes water:eek: Do you know of some outlet selling 1.2mm for “normal” price??
