FNG

Hello all. Hope you Brits don’t mind a new Yank on the site. I came upon the site by accident, but I like what I see. I hope to contribute to the community. I am a retired US Air Force pilot (27 years). F-4 Phantoms mostly. I now fly Boeing 767s across the pond. My hobby is building replica warbirds, specifically the F4U Corsair And the Japanese Nakajima Ki27. check out my site: http://www.corsair82.com. I am also the president of the Replica Fighters Association. http://replicafighter.org. This is a worldwide group of replica warbird builders.
Aircraft history is my passion. I hope to be an asset to this group.

Thanks.

TP

Have you heard of Gordon Page? An American who has been to Russia to recover 109s and is now working on the ‘Spirit of Flight’ Center. Worth checking out if have not already.

Sorry, I am not familiar with the gentleman.

Welcome! I visit your sites from time to time. Is your KI27 still alive? I heard it was lost in a hangar fire:(

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
Word gets around fast. The Ki27 was destroyed in a fire. 🙁 Arson suspected. We may try to resurrect the project. It was almost done, too. Oh well. You just have to climb back up on the horse!
I’ll get some pictures up when I figure out how this all works.
