F.A.O.All Forum members & visitors- Doncaster 1909 appeal

Many months ago I posted a thread ref for ideas for possible ways to celebrate the centenary of the UK’s first air race at Doncaster in 1909.

After much organising there are to be a number of events & displays next year involving Doncaster Council, Racecourse, Aeroventure & other museums.

Therefore we are now looking for material items, anecdotes or anything else to loan or copy that is connected with South Yorkshire’s aviation history.

If anyone has got anything they please write to the museum chairman initially explaining what you have that you would like to contribute at the following address.
