What engine?

You could call this a bit of a Christmas quiz, actually, except I don’t know the answer.

The Gunbus is a monstrous German motorcycle whose engine uses two cylinders from an aviation radial. Can anyone tell me which one?

The wheels have an aviation origin too, and at least I know the answer to that one.

More here if anyone’s got a bottomless pocket

Looks more like from PZL ASh-62 as fitted to AN-2 or Dromader. Derived from the 1820.

1820 cylinders?

Indeed it does look like a Wright Cyclone product.
It’s not however from a dash 97 Cyclone as fitted to B-17s!!

Hmm. Vee-twin, girder forks… *hums* slap-and-tickle, a Vincent motor-sickle, reasons to be cheerful, part 3…

Definitely someone with too much time on their hands and no Vincent handy!

I don’t think I’ll be trading in the Ducati just yet.
