Hello all,
Can anyone id this part of Meteor and tell me where abouts it goes on the airframe. Ive only a couple of Meteor manuals at the moment and I cant find it mentioned in either.
The scale drawings I have of the type don’t help much either.
It has the following number stamped upon it AW.61502 and a tag attached with the number 26ET/587. I know 26ET is Meteor NF & TT.
Any help gratefully received.

I think this is part of the drouge shute mounting structure.
Under the rear fuselage, just aft of the rear access hatch is the location where the four drouge shutes are stored for the TT.20.
This would have been part of the mod. kit to be inserted into the rear fuselage.
