Dear All
I spent a lot of my time during my youth at Plymouth(Roborough) when it only had 3 grass runway of less than 3000 feet, Britannia Royal Naval College flew Tiger Moths during the early to mid 1960’s. Also during this period Dan-Air used a Heron 1B G-AOZM (Plymouth Flyer) and Morton Air Services also used Heron 1B’s G-ANSZ, G-ANWZ, and G-AOXL on services out of Roborough. I have for a long time been looking for a photograph of G-AOZM in Dan-Air colours taken at Roborough for my personnel collection since loosing my collection of black & white photograph’s in a house move in 1983. I came across this image recently on the web which was taken at Roborough but she is not in the exact colours I remember her, I recollect her having red propeller cone’s and the title’s appear to be different.

Another image taken at Liverpool in 1964 – again not quite the colours I remember her

If any one has any photograph’s taken at Roborough during this period that they would be willing to share I would be extremely grateful especially any of the Heron’s mentioned above but also any taken between 1963 – 1969
By the way some wonderful nostalgia on these 2 websites
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,
thanks for sharing these links.
I have also two images of ZM 1963,
one in Jersey – again with the same title and without red propeller cone’s and the other in London with a slightly different title and red propeller cone’s – but only a bw image 🙁
