Spitfire Pilot

I am looking for info on a very recently deceased neighbour. His name was David Johns. Unfortunately he never spoke about his wartime career and we have no further info. The only info we have about him other than he flew spits was his brother was in ‘Zulu; the film. Hopefully someone out there can help a dearly lost neighbour who lost his life due to lack of grit on the pavements.
