A few bits and pieces have come into my possession. It was in a book called “The Royal Air Force Collection”. One item is a living out pass. 2396155 AC1 Heym L. 1250 No. 529757. 2 FTS. South Cerney. Signed by F.O. D Hetherington. Also a combat report, no name. Sept 14 to 30th. Flew Spits X4170, X4237, X4424, P7421, P7428. Total hours 855. Shot down Me110, He 111 and Me 109. It states 242 Squadron was leading the wing. Can something be put together from this?
