Iam looking for a photo showing the nose art on this P47,it served with the 83rd fs 78th fg and later with the 495th ftg.Nose art was “swee pea” or “Sweet pea” of the Pop eye cartoon.
also seeking photos of its original 83rd fs pilot Dwight E Wilkes and also
Richard F Hunter who flew this aircraft with the 495th and also Peter Quinci who was killed in this aircraft.
