I don’t read the adds at I go straight to the forum and bypass them totally.
I know they serve a great purpose of keeping this forum free and i respect that.
I have not seen the Add mentioned so can not say i am offended by it.

I never look at them.

We are provided with a free playground, where we can exchange postings about our interest in Historic Aviation.
Adds is part of what keeps this place going and I don’t think the forum owners have much control over the content, as they use google adds (AdSense), which just dish out advertisement that seem to be related to the site in general.
I can recommend using a Firefox browser with a NoScript plug-in.

I can only speak for myself, not for the mods as a group.
I view the ads as an irritating distraction. I hardly look at them so have never noticed the one of which you speak (It could be I have actually adblocked the entire frame in Firefox)
We certainly have no control of how Key offsets the not inconsiderable costs of this forum which remains free to its users.
If it worries you greatly the Webmaster is your point of contact – though doubtless he will read this.
