Hunter history request.

Evening all,

Does anyone know the serial number of the ‘cutaway’ Hunter that is currently on display at the Science Museum in Manchester?.

A potted history of her would be nice too ;).

Regards,

John.

Glad to be of assistance – but it’s a lot of detail required if you are modelling it! 😉

TwinOtter23,

Having the info on the serial has now got me pointed in the right direction and as you quite rightly said she is indeed now in the care of Cosford.

John.

I believe the airframe was an F.1 WT619 – not much history for you; although I did hear a whisper earlier in the week that it had left [or was leaving] for Cosford along with the Sycamore.
