During a recent aviation trip to Gelendzhik (for the Hydroaviation show) and Moscow, we visited the Zadorozhny Technical Museum on the outskirts of Moscow…
This superb museum houses a large collection of vintage cars, but has recently opened its ‘aviation wing’ – with a display of Yakovlev fighters that were formerly at the Yakovlev museum on Leningradsky Prospekt.
As well as the Yaks, they now have the Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6 on display.
Bf-109G-6 – Werke Nummer 411768……..

Yak-9 in the markings of Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Kleshev…..

Yak-3….

I also photographed this Lavochkin La-7 on display near a park at Khimki…
