Legends 2009. Should I go gold?

After my £26 ticket to Legends ’08, which was brilliant, should I save up and go for the Gold Pass next year?

Has anyone been to Legends with a Gold Pass? I know what the benefits are – private seating area (which everyone seems to sit down in rather than stand up!), allocated parking area, not having to carry your own seats for miles and getting a red raw shoulder, so from my point of view it sounds like a worthwhile thing to save up for.

Is it truly worth the £70 for a bit of luxury, or is it not all its made out to be?

The Gold Pass is great, well worth the cash! The food is much better that the greasy stalls on site, and you get the added bonus of your own covered tent if the weathers foul.

Been going “gold” a few times. 2006 and 2008. Loved it both times. Especially if the sun is a killer it’s so nice with the cooler enclosure there and let’s not forget the Spitfire Ale they serve. 😀

Join the ‘friends of Duxford’ they have their own enclosure for both seated and standing and it is at every show not just legends and the initial investment of £49 is worth it.

Plus you get to get into museum for free the rest of the year and 20% off anything you buy from the shops or restaurants and 20% from your airshow admission.

See here for more info
