Carvair at Coventry 1968

An old friend of mine Russ (we worked together for years as AA Patrols), has been busy digitalising (spellcheck:p) some of his vast collection of 8mm cine.

Anyway he came up with this little gem, and his bro has kindly uploaded it to You-tube.

Hope you enjoy!

Kev:)

And be aware- the long promised book on the @CARVAIR’ by Patrick Dean is now available. Absolutely crammed full of facts that even a Southend enthusiast had not seen or forgotten over the years- WELL RECOMMENDED. a most diligently prepared book

I well recall those days at CVT – wonderfully emotive footage. Thanks to the owner for sharing it and to yourself for flagging the link. I’d forgotten about the classic refuelling truck still in use then.
