The gasket is most likely made in Canada
The gasket is made by Avro Canada based on the NSN code on the packaging. Knowing that the Canadians had different section numbers to the RAF, the airframe code 26CH does not shed any light on the subject.

Thanks Elliot. The date and type of gasket leads me to believe it might be cf100..

Hi Peter
As you might expect 36 is an engine code (the item is made by pratt and whitney). 36P is probably the engine code for a particular P+W engine, but I do not know which one. I see the part number starts with a 32 – maybe it’s from a liberator? If the date 1969 is correct then probably not…
The Avro part – not sure but I would email the BBMF or Air Atlantique as the former operate a Lanc and the latter Ansons! Would well be one of these two beasts.
Good luck

The pratt and whitney part I can get a picture of but the other part it still sealed in its orginal wrapping. I have to find the loose seal that came from another sealed sleave and post a pic of that.
