Hello Chaps,
On this date, three pilots from No 249 Squadron took off from Boscombe Down, one of them P/O Martyn King was killed in action, F/Lt James Nicolson destroyed a Messerschmitt Bf110 and earned the Victoria Cross and S/L Bruce King returned to Boscombe Down severly wounded.
I identified two of the three Hawker Hurricanes involved on this action.

F/Lt James Nicolson Hurricane P3576 GN-A
P/O Martyn King Hurricane P3616 GN-F

Could you please help me to know the Hurricane (Serial Number and Code Letter) that S/L Bruce King used during that fight?

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

P/O George Barclay

Hello Chaps,
Thank you very much for your answers, Hurricane P3870 GN-C was the favourite aircraft of P/O George Barclay, this is according with Hurricane Aces Book (Osprey).

T-21, where do you get that info (Serial Number)?

Best Regards.
