Help please to identify aircraft part

hi have a set of toasting forks made from aircraft parts the guy served from 1918-1932 with 56 fighter squadron and in ww2 on wellingtons in india.The parts are numbered 5w3 ,630 ,389 and rm5 any ideas please look to be made of steel?
