Memorial to be unveiled

Hi all,
Thought you might like to know that towards the end of this month, a Memorial is to be unveiled in the village of Kingussie in Scotland to the memory of the men who died on Lancaster PD259 (J-OG), which crashed in The Monaliadh Mountains on August 31, 1944.
The Memorial will consist of a propeller taken from the site of the crash and will be placed in the private graveyard of the owners of Balavil House, the Macpherson-Fletchers.
Am hoping to make it up for the ceremony and if I do, will try to get pictures on to this site for you all.
If you want to know more, suggest you type in “The Strathspey and Baddenoch Herald”, they might have more on it there.
